Waaw residency, Senegal
Some work from my residency in December 2023, St Louis, Senegal. An amazing experience. The talibe mendiant are children who learn the Quran at a daara and beg for food and money for themselves and their marabout. Homosexuality is illegal in Senegal, so I made up Mamadou and Issa.
